A Thunder Shower 400%

MEGA JUST DIMOO A Thunder Shower 400% is a collectible PVC figure produced by POP MART, featuring Ayan Deng’s character. A dark cloud above the head, a yellow lightning bolt and closed eyes turn DIMOO into a small thunderstorm scene. Black and grey dominate the palette, with small golden accents.

A thunderstorm within the design

The cloud has a sad expression of its own. Glossy black droplets sit beside it, while a yellow lightning bolt rises above the head. The dark shorts echo the cloud’s wavy graphics, and a small splash shape at the feet completes the composition. The pale body and calm pose contrast with this gloomy “weather”.

A Thunder Shower develops one of DIMOO’s defining features: the character’s connection to a cloud and the world of dreams. The rainy motif can be read as an image of changing moods, pairing an outward storm with a quiet, thoughtful expression.

Ayan Deng and DIMOO WORLD

Ayan Deng is an artist, illustrator and toy designer, the founder of YANSTUDIO and the creator of DIMOO WORLD. In her story, a shy boy finds courage and friends in his dreams. Baby Cloud becomes his companion, hiding in his hair and changing shape with the character’s emotions.

This release brings Ayan Deng’s world into the larger MEGA JUST DIMOO format. POP MART produces the figure; the visual story centres on the character and his cloud. The restrained palette draws attention to the expression, rounded forms and contrast between matte and glossy details.
