About Michael Jordan Rookie Jersey
Michael Jordan Rookie Jersey is a MEDICOM TOY BE@RBRICK 1000% with the athlete in a red Chicago Bulls uniform. Number 23 is reproduced on the body, with gold-coloured sections highlighting the head and arms. The full edition name references 1985 Rookie Jersey, a historical theme rather than a manufacture date. MEDICOM TOY announced the 1000% version for January 2022.
Participants and concept
Rookie Jersey represents an early stage of Jordan’s sporting history, in contrast to the later championship theme of World Champion. The athlete’s sporting history provides the design subject. BE@RBRICK retains the sporting identifiers while replacing anatomical form with a stylised sculpture, manufactured by MEDICOM TOY.
