About the work Vernal
Vernal is an offset poster after an abstract work by Bernard Frize. Translucent bands of colour intersect and change direction, with cool blue areas alternating with warmer accents. There is no single figure or object: the image is held together by the movement of colour.
The date 2014 in the publisher’s title refers to the underlying artwork. Perrotin connects the poster with Come to Me Again in New York in 2022. This is a printed edition, not an original Frize canvas.
