Keiko Trooper / Damaged

Keiko Trooper / Damaged by Fools Paradise contrasts an armoured exterior with the character inside. Translucent red sections reveal the inner figure, while deliberately damaged areas break up the trooper silhouette.

Fools Paradise reworks familiar cultural imagery through designer toys. Here, the character’s altered mood and proportions matter more than a literal reproduction of its screen appearance.

Keiko has its own section in the official Fools Paradise catalogue, where this version is listed as Keikotrooper // Damaged Red. This collectible interpretation by Fools Paradise pairs a recognisable costume with an unexpected character inside. The relationship between the shell and the character inside encourages viewing from different angles. Transparency and damaged sections belong to the design rather than describing the condition of our example.
