Original

Dead Liberty Original translates the Statue of Liberty into an LTNC Studio designer toy. The turquoise colour keeps the connection to the monument, while a cartoon skull and irreverent sculptural gestures replace solemnity with irony.

In LibertyDead, designer Lim of LTNC Studio combines the Statue of Liberty with a skull. This contrast underpins the series, giving a familiar public symbol a deliberately contradictory character.

Designer Lim published the LTNC Toys LibertyDead project in his Behance portfolio in 2021. His explanation explicitly brings together the Statue of Liberty and a skull: the elements conflict yet work together within one character. This is the documented artistic premise of the series, rather than a claim that the figure has any talismanic properties. In Original, the connection to the monument remains particularly direct, making the altered face especially noticeable.
