FELLOWS Pink

FELLOWS Pink is a collectible painted-vinyl KAWS figure from the FELLOWS series, released in 2026. BFF’s headless body holds COMPANION’s head and stands on CHUM’s hand. Instead of creating a separate new character, the artist assembles an unusual composition from three figures in his own world.

Three characters in one composition

BFF’s textured surface resembles fur, but it is sculpted texture rather than plush. COMPANION’s head with cross-shaped eyes is held between large arms, while CHUM’s segmented hand lies beneath the feet. The pose and relationships between the parts change the characters’ familiar appearances, rewarding views from several sides.

A pink palette and an unusual composition

In Pink, BFF’s pink body combines with COMPANION’s pale head and CHUM’s rich pink hand. The soft-looking palette contrasts with the composition: the characters appear as separate parts assembled into a new form. This gives the piece a different mood from the almost monochrome Black or contrasting Blue.

FELLOWS and the release context

FELLOWS was presented in three colours: Black, Blue and Pink. MEDICOM TOY’s official announcement confirms their sale in 2026, with the Japanese online release taking place on 22 August. This period coincides with KAWS FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS at Space K Seoul, which opened on 23 July. The exhibition considers closeness and tension in relationships; FELLOWS can be viewed alongside these themes without reducing the composition to one interpretation.

KAWS, collecting and gifting

Brian Donnelly, known as KAWS, was born in Jersey City and began with graffiti and the reinterpretation of advertising. His characters later moved into painting, museum sculpture and art toys. FELLOWS interests collectors through a new interaction between familiar figures rather than simply another colour of one character.

As a gift for someone interested in contemporary art, this figure suits a person who recognises COMPANION, BFF and CHUM and enjoys unusual compositions. For your own collection, choose the colour according to the textures and contrasts you want to emphasise beside other works.
