Flower Pillow — Rainbow

Flower Pillow — Rainbow is a decorative Takashi Murakami pillow in the shape of his smiling flower. Petals and a round face bring the familiar artistic motif into a soft three-dimensional object that can be displayed at home beside prints and collectible figures.

What distinguishes Rainbow

Flower Pillow — Rainbow combines a yellow centre with pink, purple, blue, green and pale petals. Each petal has its own colour, keeping the silhouette clear even from a distance. The photograph shows the side with closed eyes and a small smile.

Why Flower Pillow is recognisable

Flower Pillow’s appeal lies in a simple, recognisable image: a flower with a human face reads almost as a character. Colour versions offer not only an artist-created object but a choice of mood. Murakami’s work and collaborations with fashion brands, including Louis Vuitton, have made his world recognisable. The pillow retains that connection with contemporary art within everyday space.

Interior display and gifting

Rainbow easily becomes a room’s colour focus. The medium format can sit on an armchair or sofa, while the large size needs more free space. When choosing a gift, consider not only the recipient’s interest in Murakami but where the pillow will be displayed.
