Panda Navy

Kakkoii Taiketsu Panda Navy translates the series’ sports-inspired details into a dark-blue palette. The rounded silhouette retains the softness of a toy character, while the surface treatment keeps its connection to sneaker culture.

With Kakkoii Taiketsu, Fools Paradise uses the language of sneaker design to create art toys. Panels, contours and lacing remain recognisable, but come together as a character rather than a piece of footwear.

Kakkoii Taiketsu appears as a separate series in the official Fools Paradise store. The studio transfers recognisable footwear elements into another form: details with a practical role in a sneaker become decorative parts of a character. This explains the combination of a soft, rounded silhouette with clearly defined panels and lacing. In Panda Navy, the restrained colour keeps attention on the rounded body’s construction and sporting details.
