Outside of My Environment

Outside of My Environment is a King Saladeen paper print combining digital printing and screenprinting. A large colourful bear silhouette appears against a contrasting setting. Layered signs and lines turn its surface into a landscape of its own.

The title suggests a move beyond familiar surroundings. A recognisable character retains its identity as the space around it changes. This remains one possible reading; the physical print, colour relationships and layered shapes are equally important to the work.
