Stitch 400%

MEGA SPACE MOLLY Stitch 400% is a collectible POP MART art toy in which space traveller MOLLY takes on Stitch’s look. Large blue ears with pink interiors frame the helmet, turquoise panels enliven the costume, and pink tubes link its details. Stitch’s face appears on the lifting visor, with MOLLY’s recognisable gaze beneath it.

The design plays with changing roles: with the visor lowered, we see a space-themed Stitch; with it raised, MOLLY appears in his costume. Additional photographs reveal the back of the helmet, the A/B unit and the combination of matte blue details with bright pink accents. The ears play an important role in the silhouette, making side views particularly interesting.

Stitch and a space adventure

The collaboration brings MOLLY’s world together with Disney’s character from Lilo & Stitch. POP MART develops this meeting into a shared adventure: in the official video, the characters travel to Hawaii and go surfing. Friendship and found family echo the idea of ohana, central to Stitch’s story. The spacesuit makes the meeting feel natural for both characters.

Who created MOLLY

The figure is based on the character created in 2006 by Hong Kong artist and designer Kenny Wong. Her large eyes and pursed lips preserve her personality even within an elaborate costume. For this release, Kenny Wong is MOLLY’s creator, Disney supplies Stitch’s character design, and POP MART manufactures the collectible figure.
