Pretty N Kink — Janky & Guggimon

Pretty N Kink is a paired composition of Janky and Guggimon from Superplastic’s Lil’ Helpers series. Both figures combine black surfaces with bright pink graphics but retain different silhouettes: Janky’s cat ears contrast with Guggimon’s long ears. Two characters share one colour story.

Pink faces and stripes on the legs create a clear rhythm against the dark background. From a distance the pair reads as one object; closer inspection reveals differences in expression and head shape. This interaction makes the set more engaging than two identically decorated figures.

Lil’ Helpers develops Superplastic characters in a distinctive sculptural format. Pretty N Kink uses a more restrained palette than many of the brand’s multicoloured releases, focusing attention on proportions and black against neon pink.

Who are Janky and Guggimon?

Janky and Guggimon are characters in Superplastic’s animated universe. Their designs combine humour, street fashion and the grotesque. The figures convey that personality without a screen, through pose, expression and decoration.
