About the work We Want to Be Kind Every Day

We Want to Be Kind Every Day is a large acrylic painting on canvas by ZABUSA. Rounded characters in contrasting colours fill the space while retaining their separate silhouettes. Postures, gestures and the relationships between figures take the place of conventional facial expressions.

The title opens a possible reading about kindness and coexistence. This is an interpretation of the image, not a statement attributed to the artist. Its broad horizontal format supports both a room-scale view and closer attention to individual characters.
