About the work In the Distant Future
In the Distant Future is a Suntur print. A barely visible figure stands before a distant blue horizon. Pale horizontal planes and a large sky turn the minimal scene into an open space for reflection.
The character’s scale matters as much as the narrative. The person occupies only a small part of the sheet, giving the landscape a presence of its own. This composition invites unhurried looking and comparison with other quiet scenes in the selection.
