King of Pop

King of Pop is a collectible TUD × Michael Jackson sculpture created as a tribute to the performer’s musical legacy. It combines The Ugly Duck character with the cultural image of the King of Pop. This is a contemporary TUD art object, rather than a sculpture made by Michael Jackson himself.

King of Pop: musical memory as an art toy

The figure’s white front contrasts with its black rear; silver-coloured accents on an arm and the legs recall stage sparkle. King of Pop lettering appears on the chest. The brand describes this version as a combination of innovation and nostalgia. Its name directly refers to Michael Jackson, whose stage movement, videos and performances became part of visual culture. TUD brings that recognisability into a collectible object.

King of Pop has its own edition of 777 examples. According to TUD, the number carries symbolic significance for the performer. It describes the whole release; an individual sculpture’s number is determined by its own markings.

Collecting, interiors and gifts for music enthusiasts

In King of Pop, music becomes part of object design. The sculpture suits an art-toy collection, a place beside records or a space where popular culture has personal meaning. It can be a gift for someone whose memories and favourite music are connected with Michael Jackson.

The M format allows it to stand alone as an accent. For care, the manufacturer advises avoiding heat, water and falls, and cleaning the surface with a soft cloth. Supply of a specific example is agreed before an order is placed.

Other interpretations appear in Exclusive Art Toys: Eggstraw reinterprets Chupa Chups, while Viva la Vida pays tribute to Frida Kahlo.
