About Donatello Chrome
Donatello Chrome is a MEDICOM TOY BE@RBRICK 1000% based on Donatello from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The reflective green finish, purple mask and shell graphics reference the 1987 television series. The mask colour identifies Donatello among the four turtles. Chrome describes the surface treatment rather than the body material. MEDICOM TOY announced the edition for July 2023.
Participants and concept
Donatello is the technically minded member of the team, but the mask and shell remain the key identifiers of this object. The official announcement explicitly connects the design to the 1987 television version. TMNT supplies the character and MEDICOM TOY creates the collectible edition.
