About Shaun the Sheep
Shaun the Sheep becomes a MEDICOM TOY BE@RBRICK 1000% drawn from Aardman’s character world. A white body with wool-like graphics contrasts with the black face and limbs. Large pale eyes convey Shaun’s curious personality, while the printed texture recalls stop-motion animation. The official edition was announced for September 2021, retaining a simple black-and-white character palette.
Participants and concept
Aardman is associated with stop-motion animation, where personality emerges through pose, gaze and surface qualities. Shaun comes from that world, so a static object can still recall his screen movement. Aardman provides the character and visual context; MEDICOM TOY adapts them into BE@RBRICK rather than reproducing an original animation puppet.
