About Grateful Dead Dancing Bear
BE@RBRICK Grateful Dead Dancing Bear is covered in small, multicoloured bears on a pale ground. Repetition creates a sense of movement: each character has its own colour, but together they form a continuous surface. The pattern wraps around the figure and rewards viewing from different sides.
Grateful Dead is an American rock band whose imagery also lives in graphics, clothing and collectibles. MEDICOM TOY uses Dancing Bear as a specific motif, distinct from the Steal Your Face logo. This pair was announced in 2021 for release in July 2022.
Compared with darker music-themed BE@RBRICK designs, this version has a light, playful mood. It fits beside records or within a collection of repeated prints. Two scales reveal how the small pattern reads close up and from a distance.
