BE@RBRICK Leonardo Chrome Ver. combines a green reflective finish with a blue mask and yellow shell graphics. A grin and large eyes retain the cartoon character, while the reflective surface gives the familiar hero a more decorative appearance. The mask colour immediately distinguishes Leonardo from the other turtles.
MEDICOM TOY explicitly connects this release with the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles television series. The official release date for the pair is June 2023. Chrome describes the finish rather than a separate character or a new narrative series.
The model fits a collection of classic animation or different designer interpretations of the turtles. Two scales show how simplified shell graphics read at different sizes. Soft light helps preserve the green colour without excessive white reflections.
