A black suit and silver-toned S emblem define Superman Return of Superman Ver. Dark hair frames the pale face, while the restrained palette separates this design from Superman’s familiar blue-and-red appearance. The name refers to the hero’s return in DC’s comic-book story, rather than the film Superman Returns. MEDICOM TOY scheduled the 100% + 400% set for March 2025. Displaying it beside Steel makes clear that these are two separate characters associated with the same story cycle.

The MEDICOM TOY collaboration with DC places comic-book history on the shared BE@RBRICK platform. Costume and chest insignia take the place of realistic anatomy as the main means of identification. In The Return of Superman, different characters are connected with Superman’s legacy while retaining separate identities. The exact release name therefore matters: Steel’s silver-toned armour and Superman’s black suit represent different stories, rather than simply offering two colourways of the same character.
