AME & Cocoa New Year

AME & Cocoa New Year is a collectible pair of characters by Thailand’s Noinah: the girl Ame and her cat Cocoa. This version connects them through colour and clothing details while retaining the intimate character of the artist’s story.

Ame’s red raincoat contrasts with green Cocoa. White cuffs, laces and the zigzag hem echo the cat’s pale details. Red, green and white emphasise New Year’s festive character; the forms remain recognisable beside Blue Dot.

Who are Ame and Cocoa?

Ame is a girl in a raincoat, and Cocoa is her beloved cat. Their relationship forms the basis of Noinah’s world. Palettes and decoration change across colour releases, while the bond between the characters remains recognisable.
