About the work in my Life
in my Life is a Javier Calleja print showing a large-headed character with green eyes in a pale shirt marked IN MY LIFE. Fine, sketch-like lines describing the body contrast with smooth coloured areas of the face. The gaze and short clothing slogan define the image.
The work belongs to the paired Once / in my Life project. Publisher Avant Arte offered the prints separately or as a diptych; the complete phrase emerges when the two sheets are seen together. This card is for one print. The edition combines hybrid printing with layers of red screenprinted ink and varnish, finished with a bespoke artist blindstamp.
