Olive / Retro 90th

Popeye / Large Edition Olive / Retro 90th is a collectible object in the ArtComburo Characters selection. The large Olive retains the slim silhouette and light movement of the classic animation character.

Elongated proportions make the character expressive without relying on numerous small details. Beside Popeye, the contrast between Olive’s slender lines and his powerful forearms becomes central to the composition.

About the series

ZCWO translates characters from the world of Popeye from animation into collectible figures. Distinctive proportions are central: the sailor’s powerful arms, Olive’s narrow outline and Brutus’s broad build establish different personalities before the smaller details are considered. The characters can be viewed individually or as a group in which each makes the others more recognisable.
