Sweet Conflict / EP3

Sweet Conflict / EP3 by Fools Paradise brings together a familiar round-eared silhouette and a pink floral character. The composition works through the encounter between two distinct personalities, with colour and shape contributing as much as the characters themselves.

Fools Paradise reworks familiar cultural imagery through designer toys. Here, the character’s altered mood and proportions matter more than a literal reproduction of its screen appearance.

Fools Paradise presents Sweet Conflict as its own interpretation of pop-cultural imagery. The EP3 designation identifies this particular composition and distinguishes it from other works featuring related characters. It demonstrates an approach found in art toys: a familiar form remains recognisable, but a new pairing changes the narrative. The floral character and the round-eared figure are read together as a single scene rather than as unrelated objects.
