Wings of Fortune

LABUBU × PRONOUNCE Wings of Fortune is a collectible POP MART vinyl plush pendant bringing Kasing Lung’s character together with fashion brand PRONOUNCE. Rich purple fur combines with a textured golden outfit and a small lips-shaped bag. A smooth face, long ears and sharp teeth preserve LABUBU’s personality.

The costume’s most expressive element appears at the back: a large geometric fold resembles a bow or outspread wings. Golden and dark threads create a varied texture contrasting with the even purple pile. A thin strap runs diagonally across the body to the shiny lips-shaped bag.

PRONOUNCE fashion and LABUBU’s character

PRONOUNCE is the design brand of Yushan Li and Jun Zhou, working with clothing and combinations of cultural traditions. Wings of Fortune conveys fashion through silhouette, texture and an accessory, giving even a small character distinctive front and rear views. Kasing Lung remains LABUBU’s creator, PRONOUNCE contributes the partnership design, and POP MART produces the pendant.

Studio photographs show the character dressed and undressed, revealing the purple form and costume construction separately. Additional staged scenes emphasise gold and purple against dark and pale backgrounds. The ring and loop above the ears complete the collectible pendant format.

Kasing Lung and THE MONSTERS

Kasing Lung created THE MONSTERS in his illustrated stories in 2015. Long ears, a toothy smile and a kind nature make LABUBU recognisable regardless of costume. The artist brings fairy-tale designs into three dimensions while preserving their emotional qualities. Learn about the creator in the official Kasing Lung profile.
