About Marvin the Martian Space Jam A New Legacy
BE@RBRICK Marvin the Martian Space Jam A New Legacy retains Marvin’s green helmet, dark face and expressive eyes. The Tune Squad basketball uniform connects him with a particular film appearance. Contrasting colour areas animate the design while the rounded ears preserve the recognisable BE@RBRICK construction.
Marvin comes from Looney Tunes, and MEDICOM TOY explicitly connects this release with Space Jam: A New Legacy. The official release date for the pair is June 2022. It is distinct from the earlier Space Jam Marvin: the character’s name is shared, but the costume and release differ.
The model brings space-themed humour to a collection of animation and basketball popular culture. Beside Dino, it shows how characters remain recognisable through their faces despite altered proportions. The smaller companion repeats the larger figure’s sporting identity.
