Smitten Love 400%

MEGA SPACE MOLLY Smitten Love 400% is a pink POP MART art toy based on Kenny Wong’s character. Fluffy hearts sit inside the transparent body, while metallic pink details on the helmet and tubes combine with softer matte surfaces. This is the Smitten Love release in the 400% format.

The design explores nuances of one colour. The pale pink costume differs from the more saturated eyes, glossy visor frame and shade of the gloves. Transparency reveals the hearts inside, while the spacesuit’s rounded details reinforce their softness. Side and rear views show the connections between transparent tubes, pink panels and the A/B unit.

A romantic MEGA SPACE MOLLY story

Smitten Love explores affection through texture and small symbols. The hearts become part of the figure’s volume rather than simply a surface pattern. The astronaut’s familiar technical costume takes on a gentle palette while retaining the construction of its helmet, tubes and gloves.

This piece can be a gift for a designer-toy enthusiast or part of a colour-focused collection. Compared with MOLLY’s graphic collaborations, the emphasis is on the character’s own thematic interpretation, without reference to another film or comic character.

Kenny Wong and MOLLY

Hong Kong artist and designer Kenny Wong created MOLLY in 2006. Large eyes, short hair and distinctively pursed lips keep her recognisable across different costumes. MEGA SPACE MOLLY gives the character an astronaut’s form: a rounded helmet, gloves and spacesuit components become the foundation for new designs.
