Lamborghini Edition 400%

MEGA SPACE MOLLY Lamborghini Edition 400% is a collectible POP MART figure based on Kenny Wong’s character and incorporating Lamborghini’s visual identity. The green-and-black spacesuit has the automotive brand’s emblem on the chest, a dark visor and hexagonal patterns on the sleeves. Green eyes echo the costume’s saturated colour.

The astronaut’s form meets the language of automotive design. Black areas emphasise the body’s curves, while green panels define the helmet, gloves and boots. Substantial black tubes connect the front of the suit to the rear unit. Lamborghini lettering appears on the back of the helmet, above two transparent capsules marked A and B.

Automotive design as an art toy

The hexagonal pattern, dark-and-bright contrast and brand emblem evoke automotive design without depicting a car. MOLLY’s rounded head softens this technical character, while her large eyes and pursed lips preserve the connection to the original character.

POP MART’s collaboration with Lamborghini brings the brand’s aesthetic into designer toys. Close inspection reveals contrasts between smooth green surfaces, dark graphics and textured tubes. Front, side and rear views show how these elements form a unified design.

Kenny Wong is a Hong Kong artist and designer who created MOLLY in 2006. Her expression gives her a personality of her own, while costume transformations open the way to new themed releases.
