Fall in Wild

THE MONSTERS LABUBU Fall in Wild is a collectible POP MART vinyl plush doll taking Kasing Lung’s character into a world of walks and small adventures. Pale fur combines with a smooth face, beige bucket hat, dark denim overalls and orange boots. The manufacturer lists cotton, PVC, ABS, polyester and TPR for the shell.

LABUBU wears a traveller’s practical clothing in place of a fantasy costume. Long ears emerge through the hat, ties appear on the chest, and dark denim emphasises the pale fur’s texture. Small orange accents on the straps echo the nose and footwear. The restrained palette makes the toothy smile and large blue eyes the design’s emotional centre.

Fall in Wild rewards close inspection as a dressed character: seams, pockets and the hat’s soft brim create the impression of miniature clothing. Additional photographs show the doll among greenery, making its outdoors-inspired design particularly clear. The green setting reinforces the costume’s calm, natural palette and distinguishes these images from the neutral studio view.

Kasing Lung and THE MONSTERS

Artist and illustrator Kasing Lung created THE MONSTERS in 2015 through books inspired by Nordic fairy tales. LABUBU is one of its characters: behind a mischievous appearance is a kind-hearted creature whose attempts to help do not always go as planned. The contrast between sharp teeth and a gentle nature gives the character particular expressiveness. Learn about the artist in the official POP MART profile of Kasing Lung.
