About PiL Black
PiL Black is a MEDICOM TOY BE@RBRICK 1000% carrying the Public Image Ltd logo. A dark body, pale lettering and a transparent torso area create a graphic design connected with the band’s visual identity. This black edition differs from PiL Chrome Ver. The official November 2021 announcement concerns a 100% and 1000% set; this listing represents the large figure, so the specific contents should be agreed before purchase.
Participants and concept
Public Image Ltd is the post-punk band founded by John Lydon after Sex Pistols. Here its musical identity is conveyed through the PiL mark rather than a musician’s portrait or stage costume. The band contributes its identity and logo, while MEDICOM TOY translates them to its form.
