About BAPE × Hajime Sorayama Baby Milo Silver
BE@RBRICK BAPE × Hajime Sorayama Baby Milo Silver turns BAPE’s familiar character into a small robot. A silver-toned body, fine mechanical lines and a blue visor transform the face while retaining its recognisable rounded proportions. Reflected light brings depth to the restrained palette.
Baby Milo comes from A BATHING APE’s character world, while the robotic interpretation is associated with Hajime Sorayama. The Japanese artist is known for gleaming mechanical beings that combine technical precision with fantasy. BAPE introduced the silver and gold versions of this collaboration in January 2022, with MEDICOM TOY realising the designs as BE@RBRICK figures.
Unlike Shark, this model draws its character from a calm face and the horizontal visor. Displaying it beside silver Camo Shark makes the different treatments of a shared robotic aesthetic easier to see. Neutral surroundings help reveal fine contours on the reflective surface instead of competing with them.
