Green

Garfield Green combines a mint-green finish with a gold-coloured coin. The raised paw recalls maneki-neko figures, while the narrowed eyes and rounded face keep Garfield’s distinctive personality intact.

Garfield is the comic character created by Jim Davis. ZCWO combines his expression and rounded proportions with a maneki-neko pose, keeping the character recognisable even in an unfamiliar palette.

Garfield was created by American cartoonist Jim Davis, and the comic has been published since 1978. In this collectible direction, ZCWO translates the character from a flat drawing into a three-dimensional form while preserving his recognisable expression. The maneki-neko pose introduces another cultural association, but the object remains a Garfield interpretation rather than a traditional figurine promising good fortune. In Green, the coin and raised paw make the traditional reference legible without changing the cat’s personality.
