Porcelyan

Garfield Porcelyan places blue-and-white ornament across the cat’s rounded silhouette. The pattern recalls decorative ceramics, but the figure itself is made from PVC. ZCWO presents this treatment as Fortune Garfield Blue Marble.

Garfield is the comic character created by Jim Davis. ZCWO combines his expression and rounded proportions with a maneki-neko pose, keeping the character recognisable even in an unfamiliar palette.

Garfield was created by American cartoonist Jim Davis, and the comic has been published since 1978. In this collectible direction, ZCWO translates the character from a flat drawing into a three-dimensional form while preserving his recognisable expression. The maneki-neko pose introduces another cultural association, but the object remains a Garfield interpretation rather than a traditional figurine promising good fortune. In Porcelyan, ornament adds another layer, giving the comic silhouette a treatment associated with decorative objects.
