BE@RBRICK Future Mickey Gold & Chrome gives Mickey Mouse a futuristic appearance. Familiar ears and buttons meet mirrored surfaces, gold accents and simplified mechanical contours. Reflections define the character in place of the usual cartoon palette.
Future Mickey connects Disney’s character with Hajime Sorayama’s robotic aesthetic. MEDICOM TOY released the 2021 variant as a 2G Exclusive, with December listed in the official announcement. It is a design reinterpretation, not a functioning robot with motorised or electronic features.
Within a Mickey Mouse collection, it occupies a different position from classic or camouflage versions. Beside Baby Milo Silver, it shows how the same futuristic vocabulary changes with the character. Soft light and restrained surroundings help keep the gold and silver-toned areas visually distinct.
