BE@RBRICK 1000%: a large collectible figure

BE@RBRICK is a figure line by Japanese company MEDICOM TOY. One recognisable form becomes a platform for different artistic images. The 1000% format stands 70 cm tall. The percentage describes scale relative to the 7 cm BE@RBRICK 100%, rather than the number of figures in a set or the edition size.

At ArtComburo, compare large collectible figures by artist, character, colour and release. Graphic prints, chrome finishes and decorative patterns each work differently across the rounded form. Photographs show those differences from several views; individual product pages list prices, availability and verified specifications.

Who contributes to each collaboration?

MEDICOM TOY produces the collectible platform, while an artist, brand or rights holder provides the context for a particular design. The selection includes pop-art imagery by Andy Warhol, multicoloured graphics by KAWS, robotic imagery by Hajime Sorayama and BAPE designs. In joint releases, we distinguish the creator of the image, the character designer and the figure manufacturer.

Other releases draw on film, animation, music and sport: Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Aardman, Public Image Ltd and Michael Jordan. A figure based on a character does not make an actor or musician the sculptor of the platform. Each product description explains the connection documented for that model.

For a collection, a gift or a contemporary interior

A collector can start with a favourite artist or series and compare the available versions. When choosing an art gift, consider the recipient’s interests: a familiar character, artist, music or streetwear culture. Check whether the release is already part of their collection.

A BE@RBRICK 1000% can become a noticeable art object in an interior. Consider the 70 cm height together with the width and depth of the individual figure and its intended location. Allow space around the ears and arms, and choose a stable surface. Mirror finishes reflect surrounding colours, so interior photographs offer a different perspective from studio views.

What to check for a particular edition

Compare the full name, colour, format and printed details. Terms such as Chrome, Damage, Tiger, Shark or a series number can identify different editions. A signature reproduced in the design is not a hand-signed autograph. Materials, edition sizes, documentation and included items are stated only when confirmed.

The owner has confirmed MEDICOM TOY holographic labels on the boxes of the figures offered here. NFC authentication through du-al is a separate feature and cannot be assumed from the release year alone. Smaller figures and neighbouring objects shown in photographs are not automatically included.
